Full HD widescreen video is suitable for households that only have HD screens. The video could start to look blurry if displayed on large screen TVs or high resolution computer screens.
FHD Widescreen
1920x1080p
UHD Widescreen
Ultra high definition almost 4x the resolution of high definition but it not true 4k because it is only 3840 pixels wide instead of 4096 pixels wide. It's important to know if your TV is UHD or true 4K because 4K video on a UHD screen can cause flicker and other distracting visual artifacts. From the picture below, you can see the blank bars on the sides which is the information missing from a true 4K video.
UHD Widescreen
3840 x 2160p
4K Widescreen
In order to play 4K video properly, you should have a true 4K video and has almost 4x the resolution of HD (high definition video). Even if you only have HD screens in your household, it's always good to have more resolution than needed in case you upgrade, or share the videos with others. Widescreen video is a good aspect ratio if you want your videos to focus on the subject of the shot, whereas 4K cinemascope (see below) is better if you're trying to capture the background surroundings, particularly if you're having a destination wedding.
4K Widescreen
4096 x 2160p
4K Cinemascope
4K cinemascope is a 4k video but is ultra-wide to capture the surroundings. This is useful when you have a destination wedding or a large group of people and want to capture what is happening around the subject(s). Comparing the previous 4k example with the one below, you can see the background surroundings much better below with more of the houses shown on the left and right.
